【新加坡/马来西亚】Part 3: Hard Rock Hotel / Toast Box / Mid Valley / Marutama Ra-men / Pavilion

Hard Rock Hotel Sentosa, Singapore!!

Continue from last post!! We went back to Hard Rock Hotel to check in and our room was upgraded to Deluxe Suite for FREE. Absolutely FREE!! Which means we stayed in Deluxe Suite for SGD254 only. Divided by four so each of us paid around SGD63.5 only. *winks* ^o^

Yvonne even said that this was the compensation of her loss on the camera. LOL. She's happy then ok. =D

Kindly visit AsiaTravel to know more and don't worry, we had called and confirmed it's one of their travel agents so it's safe to make your booking through the website!

More photos about the hotel and room...

Swimming poolsss! Too bad we were all too exhausted to enjoy ourselves in the water.

The gate in guitar shape. Hard Rock spirit huh!

Look at this. If you were tired of swimming, you can always have a beer in the water! What an enjoyable moment!! Btw, we are all non-alcoholic except Annie who keeps saying that she wants to train herself. lol

A part of the lobby. It's much more larger than you can imagine...

There are many rock stars portraits along the corridors~

I think.. the costume was being wore by some sort of rock stars?? Well, not interested. =P

Our bed!! See the arrow there?? It can be pulled out and that was my bed for the night. Three of them squeezed on the big bed and guessed I had the best sleep that night!! Although I slept quite well for every nights during the trip.

Excellent space for girls like us to relax and read some magazines but the table was then full of our stuffs including the chairs and they couldn't even be seated. You know lah, girls bah! Must have a lot of stuffs~

What's that for? Mahjong? LOL. It's for tea/coffee time! =)

The room is the shower room and there's a bathtub outside. We used the bathtub to wash and soak our legs and guess what I found a web that teaches on how to use bathtub at a hotel.

Click HERE if you're interested. It's kinda funny. Haha!

And when I looked outside the window, guessed what did I discover???
VIRGO CRUISE!! It was my first time to have seen a cruise in such a close distance! It's really big!! Would love to go for vacation in cruise for at least once in my life. ^o^

After placing all our luggage in the room we then immediately headed monorail station for our next activity : Songs of the Sea!! I've read from the net that this show is a must if you ever visit to Sentosa. In case you wonder what show it actually is, read the below.

Songs of the Sea brings you a mesmerizing show with a live cast, dramatic effects and pyrotechnics. Water jets, flame bursts, lasers and captivating music make this a one-of-a-kind entertainment spectacle that's fun for everyone. A rain or shine event, this is one performance that you won't want to miss.

Or visit HERE to know more. The ticket can be bought at USS. SGD12 for ordinary seat and SGD15 for premium seat.

P/S: Never sit at the front rows if you hate being splashed by water. lol

Before that, dinner time!! Visited the McDonald in Singapore and saw some dishes that were not available in Malaysia!

Chicken McGrill Burger!! It was so damn tasty and big in size!!! Bigger if compare to Malaysia's McD!

Saw this. Indoor Skydiving. Sound interesting isn't it!! I sooo wish to play it but we were running out of time. *sob sob*

I didn't take any photo of the show Songs of The Sea but I recorded it. =.= Not the entire show but I think around 3/4 of the show. Not going to show it here if possible you guys should feel it first hand and get amazed!!

After the show, we went back to hotel. Although we supposed to enjoy the services of the hotel to the fullest God knows we were all tired and wanted to do nothing but lying on the bed! We slept quite early that day after soaking our legs in the hot bathtub for around 10 minutes. Recorded some hilarious videos but I won't post it here or else I'll be killed by Annie. lol

Next morning, we woke up quite early and wanted something nice as breakfast but all shops not open yet except Toast Box.

Apparently Barley & Eggs lover except Annie who ordered Nasi Lemak. Wonder how can she have such heavy meal as breakfast. o.O

The very nice half boiled eggsss with sauce. @.@

Looked ordinary but quite delicious! =)

Finally, Good bye Hard Rock Hotel!! RROOOCKKKSSS!!! Hand sign requested by the cameraman aka bellboy. Wonder why Jelline showed call me sign and Yvonne showed cacat rock sign. Refer mine and Annie's for the standard one. Hoho

After that, we headed to Changi Airport and flew back to KL! First station: Yvonne's aunty Judy's condo!

Handmade Onigiri served by aunty Judy. Nice eh!! Slurrpp!

Then we went to Mid Valley and hunted for steamed chicken!! Yvonne beh tahan already since we didn't have any in Singapore. lol

Yvonne ordered quarter of chicken and yeah, she finished it alone. Geng hor?? She said steamed chicken not available in Korea so must eat at least once! So funny one.

We wandered in Mid Valley and the Garden until night time and went back to rest.

Next morning, we headed to Pavilion to meet Ingming!! She purposely applied leave to gather with us! So touch what. T^T

Firstly, breakfast as usual! I forgot the name of the restaurant but it's a Japanese restaurant if not mistaken.
My massively huge size beef burger. Eat till so xin ku ah! It was really big!! =P

Yvonne's hello kitty coffee. Cute hor?

After breakfast it's shopping time!! Jelline and Yvonne were the biggest buyer and then Annie and lastly me and Ingming who only did window shopping until... I entered SASA. T^T

Wondered how the shopping mood raised in a sudden and I spent more than RM400 in SASA. And once it was started, it continued. So I spent another RM300 in Isetan for my Carlo Rino bag. =______=

Had our dinner at Marutama Ra-men in Fahrenheit. The egg is so damn delicious oh I want to eat it now! =(

Jelline and Yvonne in Wow Karaoke in Sungei Wang while waiting for Annie. Annie went for gathering with her uni friends so four of us had our own activities while waiting for her. We spent around RM150 and went to sing K for less than 2 hours although we can actually stay until 2am. What a waste right? But we were all exhausted so nobody cared about the money anymore. We just wanted to have a place to rest!! lol

After that, went back to Aunty Judy's condo to rest!! This time, Ingming's with us and you expect for an overnight talk? NO. I slept quite early. At least I was the earliest to sleep among them. lol

Next morning, Pavilion again because Jelline wanted to get her Gucci box. She forgot to bring the receipt the day before so no choice we had to go there one more time.

This time, we had our breakfast at the food court.
The very delicious Fried Carrot Cake!! Really delicious although got little bit oily lah.

This's nice too but I preferred the carrot cake. Hehe.

Egg tart bought by Ingming and almost all of them went into my stomach at last. Hoho!

It was indeed a precious trip for me since it has been a really long time I last on a vacation with them!! The last time would have to trace back to around Year 2004-2005 when we travelled to Kuching and that was 7 years ago! And I really hope to go for another vacation soon with you guys!! Taiwan? Thailand? Korea? So enjoy what!! Thank you everyone!! =D
A photo of all the souvenirs and stuffs I bought. Bankrupt sudah loh! =P

【新加坡】Part 2: Hard Rock Hotel / Universal Studio Singapore

This is a must take photo if you ever pay a visit to USS. It's kinda like if you didn't take any of it, you are simply defined as NEVER VISIT IT BEFORE. So I did take a few but none of them look good. How I wish I could master the skill of photoshop-ing to remove all those annoying ppl. T^T

Me, Yvonne and Annie. Jelline was the camera girl for this photo.

We reached Hard Rock Hotel at around 10 sth. As planned before we reached, two of us will be going in the lobby to place our luggage and another two will be staying outside the lobby to prevent the staffs from recognizing us because we booked a 2 ppl room but in fact we have four. However it appeared to be quite superfluous because bo lan bird us at all which means nobody cares about us actually.

We then went to redeem our tickets. Yvonne bought the tickets online and it's somehow cheaper with SGD63 (NP: SGD68). Hey, don't underestimate it, if you convert to RM, it'd be RM12.50 and you can go for a good meal in Malaysia already. Huh!

The first thing after entering the entrance was hunt for BREAKFAST! We were all starved!! >.<
Well, we chose it because it was one of the nearest shop to the entrance. =P

Ordered the breakfast set (SGD9.80) and it tasted good. Probably because we were all very hungry!
Taken in the cafe. Relax saja~ =D
While we were waiting for our food in the cafe, we saw the huge gigantic Kungfu Panda outside and Annie was like Woah OMG and started running towards the crowd leaving three of us in the cafe. And I was so very kepo-c and started to run out as well. Took the above photo although I don't know the people in the photo I only know the Panda. =P

Looked back and saw a long queue waiting to take photo with the panda, I decided to go back for my breakfast. Hungry leh! But Annie insisted to take photo with it so I just let her be.

After done with her breakfast, Yvonne then only got the feeling Oh no it's Kungfu Panda and started to rush out but too late the panda went to rest already. Every characters are only available for around 10-15 minutes only.

First destination: MADAGASCAR!! Because it began at 11am and we were done with our breakfast around that time!
There are only Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo, King Julian XIII and The Penguins! We queued to take photos with all of them and went for a ride in Crate Adventure! Everything was so interesting! =D

Next Destination: Far Far Away for Donkey Live!!
The entire show was hosted by this funny guy. The show is good for children but definitely not us! We felt so childish while we were sitting inside! lol

And malang memang tidak berbau who knows something bad was gonna happen inside the hall! T^T

Yvonne lost her camera. And all the photos inside GONE just like that. Or more specifically the camera was stolen instead of lost. Because we found it missing before we went out of the hall and we turned back to our seats to look for it but we couldn't find it.

I know it's by extremely low chance for the thief to see this but I just wanna say :" Hey! Go to hell lah you! " Grrr!! Yvonne hates donkey a lot now. So do I! Hmmp!!

Then we went to Lost & Found counter to make report and then continue wandering but obviously we had no mood to have fun anymore... And We were scared that the happiness we showed would deepen Yvonne's wound. =(

Next Destination: The Lost World.

No mood no mood no mood and I didn't even have mood to take any more pictures. =(

Fourth destination : Ancient Egypt.

Again... NO MOOD!!

Next: Sci-Fi City!! Ok, the most fun part. I really love the ride! A must if you visit USS but it's always full with a longgggggggggg queue. The queue seemed never-end and we spent more than half hour waiting for turn! Remember, it was not weekend and not peak hour as well!

The very nice car for exhibition purpose!!

The ride entrance. MUST TRY!!  You'll regret if you don't! Trust me!!

Finally: New York & Hollywood.

The street.

We were tired at that time and the live show wasn't at the right time when we arrived so we decided to go for tea time. lol.

By this, we supposed to have finish visiting the USS but since out photos taken before the Donkey Live were all inside the stolen camera so we decided to go back to Madagascar to take photos with those characters again! Crazy huh!

This time, the crowd was slightly bigger and we couldn't finish taking photos with every characters in time so we decided to go for other missed activities and came back again for the last show. =P

We went to the Water World for the show and it was really stunning!! Worth to go if you have time!! =D

Look at the crowd look at the crowd!! The seats are divided into wet, slight wet and dry area. If you sit at the wet area then you must have been expecting water splashing!! LOL

The middle of the show! =D

After the water show, we went back to Madagascar again! A total of three times we visited them until the characters also can recognize us already!! So funny what! LOL

After that we decided to go back to Hard Rock Hotel to check in and please stay tune for the night activities in next post! I've been updating this post for exactly 2 hours and I got very tired already! Have to sleep now!! =D
Photo taken yesterday saying
GOOD NIGHT WORLD =D

【新加坡】Part 1: Econ Inn / Oriental Chinese Restaurant / The TinTin Shop / Clarke Quay

This's the trip I'd been waiting for few months!! My first Singapore trip with old friends who knew each other for more than 10 years!! I took the evening flight from Sibu to JB on October 1 with Jelline an Annie and we headed to Singapore directly using Taxi. The taxi fee costed us RM165 and we shared it so costed us RM55 each. The best thing was that the driver sent us directly to our destination! Best deal for us who had high potential to get lost! LOL

Econ Inn @ Chinatown Singapore.

We stayed at Econ Inn @ Chinatown for the first two nights. Didn't care much about the quality because it was only for rest at night! LOL. Reached the inn at almost 10pm and we were all si beh hungry! Looked for food court but failed so we randomly chose a restaurant and again, another fail. The food was disappointing.

I ordered the Fried Rice in Yangzhou Style (SGD5) and they ordered the Noodles with Braised Beef (SGD5). And look at the canned drink! Heaven and Earth brand from Singapore! Never see oh~ LOL. Costed SGD1.2 (RM3). Ok, that's expensive! >.<

After that we went back to Econ Inn and slept! LOL And next day, Jelline woke up at 6 sth and Annie and I wok up at 7 sth automatically due to biological clock.

Char Siu Wantan Mee (SGD3) as breakfast! Tasted good! The stall is located in a food court at the People's Park Complex. There are a lot of travelling agencies in the complex! But there are less places to shop. All are about the travelling agencies.

Tintin shop spotted!! Ahahahaha~ But I'm not really into this cartoon so just simply wander around took some photos and said goodbye~ LOL

Annie doing her henna art. And the pattern was not faded after one week! Wonder how does it look now LOL

Chicken Rice as lunch as requested by Yvonne! But too bad it was roasted and no steamed available.

After lunch, we took taxi to Parkway Parade and after that Aeon and finally Clark Quay to meet Jelline's friend, Ally Yang! A pretty girl from Shanghai, China! =D

Had our dinner at Le Noir @ Clark Quay.
Quite expensive and not much choices and the food so so only but nice atmosphere and scenes! Quite cozy what..

My first Haagen-Dazs in my life! And it's treated by my dear Yvonne Chee! So touch. T^T

Oh, I miss the lion city already. LOL. To be continued with Part 2 -- Universal Studio Singapore and Hard Rock Hotel!! =D
